Welcome to my portfolio.  

My career in digital media has given me the opportunity to provide the public with a vast variety of news and information. Media allows endless opportunities within certain boundaries, providing the perfect amount of structured freedom within my skills. Ranging from social media, digital marketing, new business development, syndication, writing, and editing, my background is deep in creative thinking and strategic brainstorming. I have been fortunate to have a vast amount of opportunities that push my boundaries, enabling me to become a quick, effective, and innovative thinker. I am a creative thinker with contagious energy and an appetite for learning about new things.

While this fresh dissemination of new information is changing the world, we are still trying to piece together exactly how to adapt to the aggressive new climate. That being said, I have an ambitious enthusiasm and the appropriate flexibility to explore that which is unknown.

In September 2012, I left The States to travel the world for eight months. My experience was life-changing -- it allowed me to view the world through a new, refreshing, and inspiring lens. My experience built important personal and professional character, and I returned to New York City more enthusiastic than ever. I'm ready to embrace new challenges and projects. Traveling is humbling and provides me with the confidence and motivation I need to be my best.

I am responsible for creating a unique Bundle voice and ramping up our content production and quality. As Bundle is a data-driven site, I work closely with our data scientists to create compelling content by interpreting numbers and statistics, finding trends, and concluding valuable and useful information from our reports. I manage a team of freelance graphic designers, for whom I translate our data in order to create the highest quality infographics that will ultimately go viral. I manage a team of freelance writers, write daily articles and slideshows, copy edit, and produce all editorial content. I run our social media, develop and maintain syndication partnerships, and ensure editorial content is unique to Bundle.

I filled many different roles throughout my time at iVillage; thus my areas of expertise grew and expanded significantly. My hybrid role as an associate producer propelled me deep into a career in which I used my skills as a journalist, experience as a web producer, and knowledge as an editor to advance my proficiency in digital media. My responsibilities included writing a daily blog, articles, slide shows, videos, quizzes, photo editing and social networking. I played an major role in the launch and strategic development of a new healthy living vertical, NeverSayDiet.com (distinguished as a 2009 Webby official honoree in the Health category), as well as the growth of large Community Challenge programs targeting iVillage's robust message board community and social network. I used many content management systems including Drupal, Movable Type and Vignette. Using Adobe Photoshop, coding and HTML were all part of my daily duties. I developed social media programs, including Community Challenges with more than 100k participants, to retain major advertisers, increase number of registered users and maximize page views and user engagement. I was responsible for social media; promoting our name, brand, and content through SMS mobile texts, Facebook, Twitter, Digg, the blogosphere and more. Managing nine daily newsletters, I built, coded and wrote content for thousands of subscribers. I wrote heds, deks, subject lines and SEO-optimized content to increase open rates, page views, and uniques.
